How can students prepare for the future of technology?
Honestly technology is their second nature if not first. Children are coming out of the womb swiping left and right, knowing how to pose for a camera. They are smarter they we think. I believe they are going to replace us and start teaching us.
There are more ways than just Social media with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat to teach. Google has been a great deal of software allowing us to share files through database. Students need to know how to have Internet ettiquette when socializing online, especially in emails. The knowledge of emailing will come in handy to apply for jobs.
This wiki site is a outdated. Majority of the teachers now are millenials are technology is very easy to learn and teach anyone. Lesson plans and teaching strategies are presented differently depending on the regions. Teachers during this era feared technology because they were ignorant to it.
Some of the responses in this post were satisfyingly true because they were informing the the author that there is no need to fear or teach such tools first. Simply set lesson plans based on what to teach and how to teach it. Adobe Creative Cloud, podcasts, film, social content creator, software engineering, and many more can help prepare students for the future.
Sometimes I wish I took web development serious as a major instead of Fashion. I would be a computer genius.
