The discussion post began with a teacher stating her interest in the "Did you Know 2.0" video. She further talks about how her position as a teacher must keep the students engaged in learning. Some times teachers can dull a lesson and not make students want to learn more. With the information from the video she wants to shift, develop, and change the way of teaching. Technology is changing everyday. The lesson plans should too. In the video, the questions arised "How are students learning?" Teachers should definitely take this video into consideration because it affects the future of the students.
People in the discussion somewhat are agreeing and countering her perspective. That's pretty much a given at this point. Technology has came along and inscripted itself into our life. Now we must know how to use it to our best advantage. Just because kids are using the smart devices at an early age does not mean there is no room for improvement to teach them other things.Creating websites, wikis, and using Adobe Creative Cloud can prepare students for future jobs. This is what companies want to see. Teachers have to take the time to be up to date and shift their knowledge of technology.
